JOIN US FOR GRAVEL FUN AT THE PORT GAMBLE TRAILS

We are super stoked to announce the date of our 5th Gamble Graveller - May 2, 2026.

 

​LOCATION

The Gamble Graveller is held at the Port Gamble trail system in North Kitsap County. Park, Check In, and Fun will be at the Uplands Trailhead. Overflow parking will be available downtown Port Gamble. Follow the signs!

DISTANCE

Riders choose their distance from 20, 40 and 60 miles of 90% gravel road and 10% easy single track.

​
START TIMES

8:30 am start: “What Was I Thinking” 60 milers = 3 loops
9:00 am start: “Are We There Yet” 40 milers = 2 loops
9:30 am start: “This is a Hoot” 20 milers = 1 loop

​

PRICING 

$75 for adults, regardless of category or distance

$50 for youth under 18, regardless of category or distance

$65 for any age in non-competitive Gran Fondo category
 

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY ENTRY FEE?

In addition to an epic outdoor experience at the Port Gamble trails, all participants receive a professional, well-organized event, finisher medal, RFID timing, a well-marked course, mechanical support, mid-course snacks, and post-race burritos (gluten free and vegetarian options) from Kingston restaurant Argensol!

 

**REGISTRATION CUTOFF IS 300 PARTICIPANTS

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the North Kitsap Trails Association to help keep the Port Gamble trails awesome.

​RACING CATEGORIES

Open, Open Masters (45+), Non-Binary, Womens Open, Womens Masters (45+), Juniors (under 18), and Singlespeed

​

NON-COMPETITIVE GRAN FONDO

You can ride the Gamble Graveller in the non-competitive Gran Fondo style. This is the "have fun with your buddies" category. E-bikes are allowed in this category.

​

BIKE MAINTENANCE

Provided by Night Owl Cycling and Silverdale Trek (pending)

PARKING

There will be limited parking available at the actual trailhead/start location (Uplands Trailhead). Parking DOWNTOWN Port Gamble is recommended though. It is less than 1 mile from the trailhead and a quick pedal through the woods to the start line. Follow the signs!

It wouldn’t be a party without some cool businesses and organizations to hang out with. Let us know if you'd like to be a vendor or you have one to suggest.

TEAM TENTS

Yes, plenty of room for you and your team to put up a tent. You cannot drive to the tent area...so bring a wagon!

2026 CHANGES

*We are no longer a part of the Gravel Unravel series (but fully support them)!

*Thus, no series competition, only individual race awards

*Food will be catered instead of run by volunteers

*Race course will be run BACKWARDS from previous years (clockwise)

*Registration cost has increased a little as our expenses have too (ugh)
