COURSE
You'll be running among Douglas Fir, Big Leaf Maples, Alders, and Western Red Cedars on packed forest dirt and a little bit of gravel. One loop is 5K, two loops 10K, HM is 4 loops plus a little bit more! Hydration station available during the race after each loop.
REGISTRATION
$55 adult
$30 youth age 18 and under
All racers will receive custom wool socks, post race snacks and mocktails, and an awesome well run event with happy encouraging people!
AWARDS
Top 3, Male, Female, Non-Binary in each race (5K, 10K, HM) category
DAY OF
Show up and check in 45-60 minutes before the race begins (9-9:15 am). You will receive your number/bib when you check in.

Night Owl Landing is owned and operated by Heidi and Kelly Campo. The Campos operate Night Owl Cycling bike shop and are stewards and advocates for trail use in North Kitsap county.

There are limited spots for each accommodation, so first come first serve!
SCHEDULE
SATURDAY
12:00 pm - Gather at Night Owl Landing; get settled, unpack, have a snack
1-5 pm - Ride trails. We have around 6 miles of mountain bike trails; primarily cross country with some rock gardens, and a jump line with tables and rock drops.
6 pm - Dinner, drinks, cornhole, fire pits, smores
SUNDAY
8 am - coffee, juice and breakfast
10 am - Head to the Port Gamble trails and Ride Park (about 10 minutes away). This Kitsap County park is 3500 acres with 35 or so miles of trails. Super sweet Bike Park in addition to miles and miles of XC trails. Kelly will give you a guided tour of the best cross country trails or you can also cut loose at the Bike Park and we'll all meet up later.
Sometime in the afternoon, we'll gather up and head back to Night Owl Landing and check out. You'll leave with a branded Silipint and stories to tell.

We are super stoked to announce the date of our 4th Gamble Graveller - April 20, 2023 AND our continuing joint effort with the GRAVEL UNRAVEL series!
THE GRAVEL UNRAVEL EXPERIENCE
Gravel Unravel is a 3-race gravel series on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas of Washington State. This series is brought to you by a partnership between Peninsula Adventure Sports, La Vogue Cyclery (still Buck!) and Night Owl Cycling. This event is designed for those who wish to challenge their physical abilities to the maximum while enjoying the lushness of Olympic National Forest and Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park.
Race 1: Gamble Graveller - April 20, 2024
Race 2: Bon Jon Pass Out - June 15, 2024
Race 3: Why-Not-Chee - July 20, 2024
LOCATION
The Gamble Graveller is held at the Port Gamble trail system in North Kitsap County. Park, Check In, and Fun will be at the Uplands Trailhead. Overflow parking will be available downtown Port Gamble. Follow the signs!
DISTANCE
Riders choose their distance from 20, 40 and 60 miles of 90% gravel road and 10% easy single track.
START TIMES
8:30 am start: “What Was I Thinking” 60 milers = 3 loops
9:00 am start: “Are We There Yet” 40 milers = 2 loops
9:30 am start: “This is a Hoot” 20 milers = 1 loop
PRICING
$65 for adults, regardless of category
$45 for youth under 18, regardless of category
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY ENTRY FEE?
In addition to an epic outdoor experience at the Port Gamble trails, all participants receive a professional, well-organized event, custom race swag, RFID timing, a well-marked course, medical support, mechanical support, mid-course snacks, and post-race food.
**REGISTRATION CUTOFF IS 300 PARTICIPANTS
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help keep the Port Gamble trails awesome - new trail building and maintenance of what's already there!
COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS
For racers, scores will be combined from all three races for series points and final prizes will be given at the Why-Not-Chee race on July 20, 2024 (must be present to win).

Open, Open Masters (45+), Non-Binary, Womens Open, Womens Masters (45+), Juniors (under 18), and Singlespeed
NON-COMPETITIVE GRAND FONDO
You can ride the Gamble Graveller or any of the 3 Gravel Unravel rides in the non-competitive Gran Fondo style. This is the "have fun with your buddies" category. E-bikes are allowed in the non-competitive ride as a separate category.

Night Owl Cycling has been happy to provide a shuttle service to the coast, the day before the event for a couple of years. We rain-checked 2024, but we are back for 2025!
OPTION 1
FRIDAY, MAY 16
Gather at Night Owl Landing and stay the night. Rent a room in the Woodland Bunkhouse or tent camp in the Clover Meadow. Chat up your fellow riders at the propane firepit (smores and beer of course) and get a great night's sleep.
Coffee and pancake breakfast in the morning
Get your gear dialed in or take a hike on our trails (we have 5 miles to shake out your nerves)
Shuttle will LEAVE Night Owl Landing at 1 pm in order to get to La Push for Troy's meeting by 4 pm
OPTION 2
FRIDAY, MAY 16
Same as Option 1 but ADD ON a pick up from the ferry!
Kingston Ferry (as of the Winter schedule...this may change after March 22 when new schedule hits)
Leave Edmonds 4:45 pm
Pick up in Kingston around 5:15 pm
